Rosanne Berkenstock:
PERSONAL
First licensed during the 1980s, Rosanne Berkenstock worked for two brokers in Fauquier County before she interrupted her real estate career for a number of years to pursue other interests including:
Writing and photography for area newspapers where she gained much of her in-depth knowledge of Culpeper and the surrounding counties. News and feature assignments took Rosanne from government meetings to sports and civic events and into homes all along our picturesque rural byways.
Freelance magazine writing: Rosanne learned many of her marketing skills by prospecting for assignments and selling articles and photos to several dozen regional and national magazines.
Emergency services: When Frederick County, Virginia hired its first group of professional firefighters and emergency medical technicians, Rosanne was the first woman selected to work in one of these dual-role emergency services positions. She worked there as a Firefighter/EMT for several years following six years of volunteer service here in Culpeper County.
